Building for the Long Term.
Entrepreneur, Headhunter, and Catholic Founder.
I was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, a part of the country where reliability isn't just a trait—it’s the currency of the community. I learned the value of a hard day's work and the importance of being a man of your word from my father, Christopher, a custom cabinet maker who understood that anything worth building was worth building to last.
That upbringing shaped my lens on the world. Whether I was launching The Deliberate Zoomer to help my generation find intentionality in their 20s, or starting CleanTechies to bridge the gap between environmental necessity and economic viability, the root has always been the same: People first.
In 2020, I moved to New York City just days before the world shut down. That period of isolation forced a deep reckoning with my purpose. It was there that I met my wife, Lynn, and where the seeds of my current work—ErthSearch and Catholic Founders—truly took root.
Today, my life looks different. As of January 2025, Lynn and I have traded the Wisconsin winters for the hills of Nashville, Tennessee. We are here to build a future for our family and to join a community of builders who believe that business is a calling, not just a career. When I'm not in a search for a CleanTech founder, I'm likely writing for my children's future on my personal blog.
The Professional Mission
Through ErthSearch, I am proving that recruitment can be human-centered. We secure the A-players who will solve the climate challenges of the next century without the predatory fees of traditional search firms.
The Spiritual Mission
Through the Catholic Founders Podcast and Guild, I am building the community I wish existed when I started—helping business owners run their companies as true instruments of God’s will.
If you're in Nashville or share this vision, I'd love to connect.
